Blackwell Youth
A Place to Belong, Grow, and Serve
Youth ministry at Blackwell Pentecostal Church is about more than having a place to hang out—it’s about helping students ages 12–18 grow in their faith, discover their gifts, and learn what it means to be part of the church right now.
Our goal is simple: help students build a real relationship with Jesus, form strong friendships, and gain confidence by actively serving and leading.

What Youth Can Expect
Students are welcomed, known, and valued. Our leaders take time to build relationships, listen, and walk alongside youth as they navigate school, family, faith, and life.
Biblical Teaching That Makes Sense
Teaching is grounded in Scripture and taught in a way students can understand and apply. We talk about real issues, real faith, and how following Jesus fits into everyday life.
Learning to Lead
We believe young people grow when they’re trusted. Students are taught how to lead worship, play instruments, and serve with excellence. Youth regularly take part in worship teams, sound, production, kids ministry, and serving at The Well Café.
Serving in Church Services
Our youth don’t just attend church—they help make it happen. Serving together teaches responsibility, teamwork, humility, and confidence, while helping students see that they have an important place in the body of Christ.
Prayer and Spiritual Growth
We make room for prayer, worship, and moments where students can encounter God and grow in their faith in a meaningful way.
Youth Services & Events
Youth-Led Service
On the last Wednesday of every month, students lead the entire youth service. From worship and preaching to sound, production, and hospitality, youth are involved in every part of the service.
Camps, Conventions, and Trips
Throughout the year, students have opportunities to grow spiritually, build friendships, and have fun together through special events, including:

Partnering With Parents
We value the role parents and guardians play in their student’s spiritual growth. Our leaders are committed to providing a safe, supportive environment and to partnering with families as students grow in faith and maturity.
